A Crime Scene

There's been a murder, a woman was killed, found in a bathtub, partially filled. A pair of policemen went into the house and questioned the poor woman's spouse. He'd just come home from working all night and found her like that, a terrible sight. The younger policeman looked on with dismay. He'd never forget that terrible day. He saw the young woman from behind the door and empty milk cartons all over the floor, Scattered strawberries, slices of fruit, and spoonfuls of sugar and honey to boot. ''Who could have done this terrible thing?'' His voice had a horrified, pitiful ring. ''Just look at the clues,'' replied Sargeant Miller. ''It looks like the work of a cereal killer.''

History

History Is Important

 History is important subject to me, that I enjoy studying. I think we should all learn and study our history. There are various reasons why history is important. By taking a look back at history, we are able to learn from our history. It gives us insight into where we came from. History can provide variable explanations of the present. We can learn from where we came from and who our ancestors are and did for us.

We need to learn from our ancestors mistakes. We will try to not do the same mistakes they did. We should not be like them but better than them. American citizens have done too many mistakes. That’s why we need to learn our history, and hope everyone learns. We will not fall and fall in the same hole. We will remember where we fell and learn to jump over it. We should never go throw the same things our ancestors did.

It would be very interesting to know where your generation came from. I wonder to myself if my whole family is Mexican or there type of race. Perhaps some of you guys wonder what your generation is from too. It’s important for us to know so we can see what our culture is. We can also see over time how much our religion has changed over time.  It could also help us see if we are related to any one, or if our generation has mixed with other type.

It’s important to know what took us to get to where we are today.  If nothing would have happen will I still been born in Mexico?  Would we all talk the same language we do today?  Our Economy would not be the same or our education.  It will help us to do the right thing that pushes us to a good future. Not the ones who keep us in the past. To thank those people who help us get to our better future. I see those people as our heroes. It’s important to see what we did to end where we are right now.

 History is what makes us who we are today, yesterday and tomorrow. I’m happy to learn about our history, even though it might not seem like a fun subject. It will help us all in the future when we have question. See what should not be done again or anymore. I know the reason we don’t and do things. We can see our effects that that us the humans caused to this country. History will help us see our real heroes and villains and how to respond to them.  

Beauty and The Beast

My favorite childhood story is "The Beauty and The Beast". Its the most interesting and helpful story that I have heard. Since today it has helped me in my life journey. The theme of this great story is "don't judge the book by its front cover". Which just means don't judge someone or something before knowing who or how they really are.Thats the biggest moral of the story.They all judge the beast by the way he look and supposedly heard he was. Nobody ever took the time to understand him. They only kept assuming things about him. Until this beautiful girl tried to understand why he was like that or why people said he was like that. She took the time to understand him. After all she had made a new wonderful friend. He didn't just end up being her friend but she found her true love. We can find something incredible behind everything. Everyone has to take a chance in their life. Sometime those chance could change their life forever. You just shouldn't judge someone without knowing them.

My Learning Style

The result of my survey was visual leaner. Its correct because I learn things better and faster. My teacher for social studies would teach us using visual method. Even though I didn't like social studies, and it wasn't meant for me. I pasted it with a very good grade, that I thought I would never get. While my math teacher teach different, and I failed her class. I love math, but the way she teaches didn't go with me. I understood the survey very well and will help me in the future. Yes its important, because you might have trouble learning, and understanding your subjects in school.
